Busy public spaces where people have time to kill would be best like:

  • Airports
  • Bus stops
  • Subways
  • Waiting rooms
  • Restroom stalls
  • Elevators
  • Park benches

Hahaha, this is a great idea! Or literally anywhere there are QR codes (like in grocery stores). Subvert the merchant!
