I just looked up my old club.

I knew it met an ignominous fate. But in an article ironically kind of about it and how shite that neighborhood is now, there ws also a direct mention about my wife's club, which was far more legendary in it;s time, being in downtown LA at the time... They're both disgusting hipster slums now.

I wish I were more drunk than I am when I saw that, but such is life i guess. If the guy who ran CBGBs were still alive, I guess we could commiserate, He'd still call me a faggot, and comparatively that would fit.
