You are not hopeless.

You are not powerless.

Being fat is not your destiny

Tomorrow you will wake up and start your journey.

It is not as hard as you think.

I imagine when you get to a certain point you start to feel hopeless and think to yourself what's the point. I can't change, it's too late for me. It's going to be way too hard and I don't have it in me.

These are lies that you are telling yourself. You can do it and you will. There are tens of thousands of people who were worse off than you who lost the weight. Many have even become very fit.

You need to understand that it will take time. You might not notice any changes for a while but you will keep on going and eventually there will be a huge payoff.

I am not an expert on weight loss but I am somewhat of a fitness expert and if I had a lot of weight I needed to drop I would start this way; Consistency is the most important things when starting an exercise routine. A lot of times people become overwhelmed and overcomplicate things when they're starting out. I see exercise tutorials that are claimed be for beginners and most of them are far too complex.

Here are my starting points for you. These are all beginning steps and will eventually need to be evolved but I believe you will naturally start to make the necessary changes once you start to feel positive results.

  • don't worry about changing a damn thing about your diet to start.

  • depending on what shape you're in to begin with commit to doing 20-30 minutes of exercise every single day. I recommend lifting weights and it can be this simple: Curls 5 sets of 10 repetitions, overhead presses 5 sets of 10 repetitions. Briskly walk for 10 minutes. These three simple exercises are perfectly fine as a starter routine.

What you are trying to do here is establish a routine that you will consistently do. It's almost not even about the exercise initially, it's about developing a habit.

I am a firm believer that if you can develop this habit that you do daily no matter what it will naturally lead you to wanting to do more, desiring to do more.

Of course you can pick out completely different exercises, just develop an extremely simple routine that involves 20-30 minutes of working out per day. All you need to do is light the fire.

You need to mentally be in it for the long game but one year from now you will have made massive changes in your life.

If you are feeling discouraged because you know you will have loose skin after the weight loss my though is: who gives a fuck about loose skin. It can be dealt with later and it will get better over time. You will still look and feel 100x better. You need to realize that any such thoughts that come into your mind are just obstacles trying to give you an excuse not to do this. I am here to tell you right now that your destiny is to drop that fucking weight.

I believe in you, believe in yourself.
