Hmm. I don't think so. I think, that since I'm in my mid 50s, I've managed to escape the dying early part. When I'm on a full six day workout schedule, I eat about 30 eggs per week. Maybe 31 is the magic number...
eggs are a superfood... probably one of the healthiest things you can possibly have.
That's how it kills you! Eating eggs will give you the energy to get outside and put you in dangers you won't encounter sitting on your couch watching TV.
Oh the horror! Can't have us outside and active, we might realize that there's more to life than a screen. Then how would they propagandize all of us?
I’m in my forties and eat over a dozen eggs a week and have done for my entire adult life. I’m fucking strong. I went for a complete health check up because I have some other chronic issues, my heart was described as “beautiful”, by the specialist. Guess eggs can’t be that bad for it after all.
Yeah, my wife goes to the doctor and comes home to tell me how unhealthy the stuff I eat is, but I'm still here and feeling great. I also fry my eggs in beef tallow, and never use any sort of vegetable oil. I think that much of what we're told about so-called eating right is there to make sure that the medical industry always has a good supply of customers.
I agree. Olive oil is great, canola oil or sunflower oil, and anything containing it, is poison
This. Canola, soybean, sunflower, and other vegetable oils that are used in damn near every processed food are likely heart disease culprits. Jesus how do you deal with the runs?
If I eat 2 eggs a day for a week there's a flood out my ass.
Not a doctorfag but have you ever get your bowels checked out?
Looks like it's a protein digestion thing
How do you cook them? I usually make them pretty well done. If you start eating eggs is everything else in your diet the same?
Over easy usually. Runny yolk
But even over hard same problem.
I cook the yolk semi done since the molecules that benefit the eyes denature when overcooked.
I don't get the runs from them, but I do get heartburn pretty much every time I eat them. It's just something I deal with, and since they're such a good, and cheap source of protein, I just make sure I have some baking soda for later. My youngest brother though, he has the same issue as you, but he's allergic to eggs.
Sodium bicarbonate lowers the acid in your gut, which doesn’t help you properly digest the food. And there are other problems associated with using baking soda, mostly related to alkalizing the system.
My wife taught me that one needs to increase the acid levels of the gut to defeat heartburn. I thought this sounded ridiculous until actually trying it. So about two tablespoons (a shot) of apple cider vinegar does the trick pretty quick. And she also taught me to shake it up to get the mother mixed into the liquid.
Don't do it. You have so many syndicated episodes of Matlock to live for.
Dammit! I forgot about Matlock. Then there's Murder She Wrote. Not to mention the endless hours I'll miss out on watching the weather channel...
