My support of capital punishment comes from the understanding that the act of keeping alive a subhuman who cannot and will not ever be reformed is 1. a waste of finite resources that belong, by rights, to innocents and 2. a financial imposition upon the innocent. Obviously the appropriate time to apply capital punishment–as well as the scope of crimes which deserve it–is its own discussion. I just can’t see how there can be any objective argument against the punishment existing in the first place.
I definitely understand your argument. You should probably make a post about that here on Poal. I don't think would be the place to do it, but you should definitely go for it. The discussion regarding Capital Punishment needs much discussion
