My 20 year veteran in Special Forces dad just called me misinformed. The guy who exclusively watches MSM Electric Jew said that I , who hasn't had cable tv in years, am off base and misinformed for disagreeing with his views.

The wall of propaganda is solid and thick. Not easily breached. So maddening and sad for my father. Also he fully agrees with social media banning "idiots and assholes". Uh, i don't think any political party has cornered the market on either of those flaws. Fully supports censorship and strong gun control supporter.

How is your relationship with your MSM hypnotized leftist father and how do you deal with it?

My dad refuses to talk politics, our relationship is fine.

Mom is senile and crazy and I don't know how he can stand her... but I guess she's why he never talks politics.

Anytime we talk politics it's contentious. He is hard line old school democrat and sees everyone else as ignorant arrogant Right-wing rePUBlicans. Emphases added. I can't wait for him to hear " My fellow Americans, the storm is upon us.." What a shock to his system that will be IF it happens.

If it's always contentious then why do it? They aren't going to change their mind based on information you provide. You are their child, they will always see you as a child. Familiarity breeds contempt. Let it go and salvage what relationship you can with them while they're here. If they were shitty parents and you hate them, walk away.

Difficult to do because I want him to be the father he should be and not the asshole that he is. I guess that's difficult for me to let go of. He raised me with drugs and alcohol along with mental/emotional and some physical abuse. Still dealing with that to this day. I sometimes sense some curiosity in him but I think his ego is to huge and fragile to assimilate evidence that would shake his world view.

He just ends up saying I'm fucked up and that he doesn't give a shit anymore. If things happen the way many of us believe it will, his system will be shocked beyond the breaking point. Mother and sister are full on socialists that see Newsom as a rock star. I no longer speak their language.
