My 20 year veteran in Special Forces dad just called me misinformed. The guy who exclusively watches MSM Electric Jew said that I , who hasn't had cable tv in years, am off base and misinformed for disagreeing with his views.

The wall of propaganda is solid and thick. Not easily breached. So maddening and sad for my father. Also he fully agrees with social media banning "idiots and assholes". Uh, i don't think any political party has cornered the market on either of those flaws. Fully supports censorship and strong gun control supporter.

Nice opener is pointing out he doesn't support people's first amendment rights. Explain why. He either back pedals or he proves your point.

Wouldn't hurt to educate him on the origins or Google, twitter, and Facebook.

He agrees with social media censorship and blocking of any person or group no matter what the reason. Gave an example how a "right wing nutcase" threatened him with bodily harm. I said that violent assholes are not unique to any political party. Said that I was way off base for not watching MSDNC and others. He thinks I get my info from online crackpots and loonies. Well, if MSM is not an option, you have to go find the truth in unfamiliar places.

You'll have to find common ground on which to move forward. But most importantly, people have to want to know. If he doesn't want to know, you're talking to a wall.

Agreed. At least he doesn't start yelling like my mother does. She has a full blown conniption fit just mentioning the T word. "That SONOFABITCH!"
