I just don't like alcohol. It reminds me of gulping down nasty sugar. Silly me wanting to be strong and healthy.
Interesting. Functionally, to the body, it IS just gulping down sugar, at least in the way it gets broken down and dealt with.
It's better than mere sugar to the brain, of course... but I guess creatures with no brain would therefore not have any affinity for alcohol, which would be understandable.
I used to drink when I was in my 20s all the time. Now for whatever reason I have an aversion to alcohol and can't stand it. Just not my thing , it does no good for me and I never really feel the need to numb myself. I'm such a pussy I don't even smoke cigarettes
I used to drink when I was in my 20s all the time, too! Also my 30s and also my 40s.
So far, I have been drinking far less frequently in my 50s, but when I do I really tie one on; for some reason it's just necessary. Being half injun and half Irish I'd probably just die without my fire water!
