Crown Royal Black is not half bad. Please forgive my plebian tastes, but Crown Royal was my wife's Grandfather's go to drink. He was the only man in her life (until me) that actually gave a shit about her.

So when I do drink a little, which is rare, I grab some Crown Royal.

Yeah, that's funny. A friend's dad kicked the bucket awhile back and left him a bunch of old guy shit, including some of this stuff. He wasn't all that into booze so he gave it to me because he was still a cool guy back then in his pre-TDS days. It's perfectly enjoyable whiskey.

For some reason I never ever buy it - probably just my deep-seated racism against canadia.
