Crown Royal Black is not half bad. Please forgive my plebian tastes, but Crown Royal was my wife's Grandfather's go to drink. He was the only man in her life (until me) that actually gave a shit about her.

So when I do drink a little, which is rare, I grab some Crown Royal.

Here's to you Pap!

Eff you D.S.

Interesting. Functionally, to the body, it IS just gulping down sugar, at least in the way it gets broken down and dealt with.

It's better than mere sugar to the brain, of course... but I guess creatures with no brain would therefore not have any affinity for alcohol, which would be understandable.

I used to drink when I was in my 20s all the time. Now for whatever reason I have an aversion to alcohol and can't stand it. Just not my thing , it does no good for me and I never really feel the need to numb myself. I'm such a pussy I don't even smoke cigarettes

I used to drink when I was in my 20s all the time, too! Also my 30s and also my 40s.

So far, I have been drinking far less frequently in my 50s, but when I do I really tie one on; for some reason it's just necessary. Being half injun and half Irish I'd probably just die without my fire water!

I would say with your DNA you have no option but to drink!

I had my ancestry tested and I am almost 50% German and 50% Norwegian. I joked with one of my relatives and said "we are Nazis and Vikings".

His response was simply "that explains a lot"
