I really thought we would never have an ideological purge in the US. I thought we had learnt from the past, from the Holodomor and Mao and Pol Pot. But now that I think about it, I bet all those people who got purged also thought they had learned from the past.

The people responsible for things like the Holodomor are the same people doing this to the USA today. Same families. Same goals.
