I really thought we would never have an ideological purge in the US. I thought we had learnt from the past, from the Holodomor and Mao and Pol Pot. But now that I think about it, I bet all those people who got purged also thought they had learned from the past.

Then they move elsewhere and vote for the same shit they ran from. Many are Catholics and believe they will be taken care of by their particular faith with no intervention on their part. I’m slamming religion , I’m slamming the mindset that confuses masses.
