If you have no rules, you can become a slave to your impulses. Eat whatever, whenever, kill , rape, drink, yell...basically an addict obsessed with more, who will never be fulfilled. The law and the rules are there to keep up the charade and something to fall back on while corrupting the system further if necessary.

There is no longer a point, and rules/laws have become irrelevant. They have made this so. By design? I think not. I think they are so short sighted they did not consider the downstream repercussions of their actions. Laws and rules were put in place to govern and keep order. That is the point of them. It was the point in any civilized society throughout history. In order for society to succeed and prosper there must be law and order. It has all now been corrupted. Just my thoughts....
