This has only started happening after the exodus from voat and the same thing used to happen when I previously tried to use voat which was why I came here.

The rules of this site need greater clarity to new users that the downvote button is not a 'I disagree' button on this site, or you need to remove the downvote option immediately before this site turns into another 'wypipo only zone'.

They already state that downvoting is only for flagging illegal content or spam, and it is not an 'I disagree' button'.

I'm not asking for the rules to be changed, I am asking for the rules that were written since the day this site was made to be enforced.
