I've seen this sort of thing many times but this is the first time I have been involved. It suprised me how quickly it escalated and if I'm honest I played a part in that too but hey I'm only human. I make mistakes all the time and getting too emotional is one of the many things I need to work on.

I'm not posting this to berate anyone it's more about learning and growth. I suspect we both grabbed the wrong end of the stick and proceeded to clobber each other with it. Anyway make of it what you will.

You were banned because of a post on an admin owned sub???

The user TNN argued with in that thread, Anticlutch, banned TNN from his subs for getting triggered. I checked the mod logs and confirmed that he did indeed get banned on eleven subs.

That's about the size of it.

Edit: Except I wasn't banned from all of his subs, just 11 of them.

Learn rhetoric on the internet so you can wield it in the real world with purpose.

The reason people need to block others from their subs here is because the admins gave us a block feature for accounts and subs but when you block a person, they don't automatically get blocked from your subs and that becomes annoying to people with subs that then have to moderate them.

I have people blocked and I block them from my subs because I don't want to have to view their posts in order to moderate them. It makes no sense and defeats the blocking tool.
