When I see someone post about admin/mod abuse I can't help but think some of these are just attacks to spread the idea that some mods are unfair or bad in some way. To hurt the site and make people leave. I have asked for evidence and was not convinced. Some had arguments that were almost ok but forgot they were not on voat. That place was Lord of the Flies and everyone knows it.

There are rules here and that is a good thing. Everyone here complaining about mods enforcing those rules are whining and nothing more. I know they don't act that way in real life so they can respect but wont here. Cunts

My argument is simply this:

Your points are, in general, accurate. I love arguing online for the very reasons you've laid out.

But you said it yourself: "force intellectual growth". I don't agree that a sub-owner, operating within the terms of this website, has to allow all users, whether they are dissenting opinions, jews, retards, etc.

Do brainlets only debate flat-earth on flat-earth forums? No, they may run back there and hide, but for those ready to grow they can bring their arguments out of hiding.

I think we agree far more than we disagree, but you feel owners deserve more control in that then I do.

Yah I hear yah man, I’m at work too. Typing this out on my phone while getting a piece of equipment to cooperate, but I have down time between each attempt and don’t feel like fuck’n with work email at the moment.

I've just seen sub owners self-immolate and it's kinda like the natural selection you mention. Places like this aren't like reddit, they only look alike.

I get you, my issue is them taking up natural traffic sub names (like if the sub name "sports" ended up getting burned because of a bad mod, so for sports stuff you gotta go to "athletics" or some bullshit).

It's why every subreddit that isn't bullshit pushed narrative is some janky ass name that, while catchy, is harder to find if you haven't been linked to it.
