Go onto the "free" section of your local Craigslist. I see people giving away really nice high quality like new mattresses all the time. Bed frames, sofas, tables.... all kinds of shit. When people are moving these items get given away because they are hard to sell.

I see expensive pillow top mattresses all the time. If you don't see what you want just check throughout the day. Some of this stuff will get snagged up pretty quickly but it's not hard to be the first person to see it if you're persistent.

If you're sleeping on a crappy old uncomfortable mattress you can have that upgraded by the end of today.

Also check the free section of offerUp. I've gotten a lot of good free exercise equipment from Craigslist along with all kinds of stuff I use for projects. It's fun to jump on there and see what people are giving away. Sometimes you find some really nice stuff.

I know money is tight for some of you so why not upgrade some of your furnishings for free?

Toilet paper literally grows on trees. You can use junk mail in the winter.

Also, for the eco minded- a t shirt can be used as toilet paper and easily washed for repeated usage. It can also serve as your mandatory face mask as well- saving raw materials.
