And violence is obviously the response they're going to get. Only, I'm not going to waste my fury on some cops or some dumb bitch at a grocery store. If there really is no one in power who's trying to help us, if we're just witnessing the end, then I'm going to make my violence count. I'm going to do some careful research, and then I'm going to kill as many genuinely evil man-goblins as is physically possible. What else? There is no 'higher road' revealing itself, no salvation. If evil is just allowed to slowly swallow and digest all the goodness in the world, then I don't really have anything to lose.
