The de-platforming is just starting and if you believe that it is going to subside in a couple of weeks, you better think again.

You need to put either Signal or Telegram apps on your phone and encourage others to do so. Also look into Tor browser or I2p, because this is where many sites will have to end up. When The Daily Stormer was deplatfomed, they had to move to the dark web until they could reestablish an open web site.

If nothing else, just get familiar with the various security tools available.

There is also a Telegram Online web access.

This is the Signal desktop app for Linux (Debian, Ubuntu based systems).

I've been using Linux since before it had networking. I used to roll my own dist at about the point the kernel was at about v0.7 or so. I contributed to the serial and packet radio drivers early on, but was too busy with work to stay up on the fast and furious development later on.

I'm posting from Debian 10 running on a Dell EMC Poweredge T40 with two nvme's that contain the OS and a 3 disk RAID 5 for my data.

I use Puppy Linux. It loads entirely in RAM and is faster than bats out of hell. And if anything goes wrong, I can just restart the X server and it’s a clean slate.

There's a whole bunch of those micro distro's that are pretty good. A lot of them are designed for the Raspberry Pi and other micro computers.

Yeah, the idea is bad ass. And the security advantages of little-known distros are many. Nobody wastes time writing malware for a distro with ~ 1000 users ... yet.
