The assumption being made is that it is going to play out this way. That's a huge leap of faith with no evidence to support it. There is absolutely zero guarantee of that. Nor does history bear that logic out. We know the proven history. It took the Soviets 75 years to fold, 65 years after everyone knew exactly how wrong it all was. Look at Cuba, those fuckers are still there. China only avoided it temporarily by pretending they were becoming capitalists and tricking us into feeding them. A couple of quadrillion later and they still cannot feed themselves. The Soviet Union was not overthrown. It imploded from system wide stagnation. But not before it impoverished every citizen first, those that it had not already killed. The small amount of pain everyone is avoiding by not acting now will be oceans of blood and tears in the years to come, broken only by rivers of despair. Not a single one of them managed that on their own. Even the Americans that marched on Capital Hill, the Trump supporters, only actually went inside because Antifa led the way.
