I don't know how popular this idea is in other places but around here a gated community gets together and charges 20 bucks a kid. For that 20 dollars you get to trick or treat in their neighborhood. They give out alot of candy and they a haunted house. But the best part and the reason i gladly pay is because it keeps the animals out. It's nice clean family fun.

The idea has merit. But would only work for a place like yours where you can control those who come and go.
