I've watched the video half a dozen times. Still see zero evidence that this is true. Looked like him, spoke like him, same gestures, expression, voice. I think people want it not to be him so hard that their brain fools them. It's easier than completely shattering your world view.
it's a decent fake but you can see orchestrated body, head and lip movements repeat exactly. entire frames repeated exactly.

OK, well our brains interpret that very differently. One question for you then. Why hasn't Trump come out to disavow the video? I've asked this of everyone who believes it's a deepfake, and no one can give me an answer.

I discern the video is fake. I have no evidence of anything beyond that, the video doesn't show me where he is. But the possibilities could be ... interesting.

You could possibly be right. But if Trump doesn't make an obvious unfakeable public appearance in the next 5 days or so then I likely will be right.
I'm not 100%, it seems possible with the technology, but Occam's Razor applies here, especially in the light of no evidence.

And something about that video looks off to me. It's just barely in the uncanny valley. Bad lip syncing.
