I suspect they're mentally ill and truly believe this stuff is factual.

I do not really like banning people, as is evidenced by my history of not banning many people. I will ban submitters that repeatedly post off-topic trash in serious subs that I maintain. Well, if I notice/get complaints... I'm pretty fucking lax but this dude's first thread attracted some ire.

Yeah, I think you're right. The human brain is hardwired to see faces, Look at a textured wall, or granite counter tops, or pictures of rocks on mars and you'll see something your brain says "could be a face"
