Just had a highly educated member of my family expound on why the US Constitution is outdated, irrelevant and obsolete. That the 2nd Amendment was not meant for modern weapons. That the document doesn’t mention women, and blacks are 3/5ths of a person. That it is just a document written by racist old white men. That it needs to be scrapped in its entirety.

She said all of this with a completely straight face.

There is no compromise.

Your relative does not think women or blacks are considered people.

Children are under the guardianship of their parents who make decision for them. Your relative is a supporter of pedophilia whether they know it or not, and I'm sure you pointed that out them. The fact is they have a paranoid accusation freestanding against "other" parents and it's a black mark against their character.

Your relative's smug stupidity is only pierced with the certain assurance that you are good and they are bad. Direct that straight at them. Moral superiority is their weapon, turn it on them.

"Everything you believe is hurtful and evil and you don't care." That's the only attack that counts with them.
