Just had a highly educated member of my family expound on why the US Constitution is outdated, irrelevant and obsolete. That the 2nd Amendment was not meant for modern weapons. That the document doesn’t mention women, and blacks are 3/5ths of a person. That it is just a document written by racist old white men. That it needs to be scrapped in its entirety.

She said all of this with a completely straight face.

There is no compromise.

The Constitution is is the most basic document you could ever read! Laws were designed to never supercede common sense! Anything else is opposition designed to confuse and manipulate.
