A while back, there was a message board for time travelers, and they'd tell about their time traveling adventures.
Board noobs would get on and brag about how he killed Hitler, and then the veteran members would have to go back to repair all the sloppy mistakes the noobs made. Usually this involved killing the noob before the noob killed Hitler.
It was a fucking mess. Eventually, the timeline was altered to the point where time travel never was invented and now we are stuck.

Reminds me. Going way back to the 90s, there was an IRC channel called Pave the Earth. Obviously anti-liberal / environment. Their biggest quandry was what to do with the oceans.
