Not always. I had one that had a bad soundcard. PC ran fine except when the user started FireFox. Other browsers worked fine but start FireFox and give it 30 seconds and blue screen. Same thing happened with a bad modem that worked. Yes, it was that long ago. Most of the time it was a RAM issue. Sometimes you get one stick that is off but will pass memtest.
Anyways, the odds that it is an issue with the site and not on your end are small. I'd give the old "clean the gold tabs" a try. Use a newer pencil eraser that isn't too old and hard. There should be videos out that show it.
What I meant was I'd be experiencing this issue on other websites as well, not just this site. It's only this website out of literally 30-40 that I regularly visit.
What I mean to say is that I already know what you are saying and I understand your logic but it is wrong.
That said, you have my advice on what to try. In a former life, I was the lead tech in a fortune 500 company that is still around today and still a fortune 500 company.
EDIT: Just to make sure you see my logic. Why is no one else having this issue? If the problem is in the source code for poal then there would most likely be others. No one else has this problem. The source is your computer. Software, hardware or both. I'm guessing hardware. My guess is based on years of experience in this field of work.
With out having your computer in front of me, this is the best I can do.
