Look, poal supports free speech but that does not mean you can go to a sub that does not support free speech and call the mod a cunt expecting nothing to come of it. If you came in to my house/sub and did that I'd bounce your ass out just as fast. Not all subs are the same. Pay attention to the rules. We all got lazy on voat because mods there didn't give a shit. Clearly, some of these mods do!

No, I do not believe all of poal should be 100% free speech because that forces all mods to accept all content. You can't force me to listen to rap music in my house!

Cooking post going in the cooking sub and has nothing to do with anything but cooking if that is what the mod wants. In time, ex-goats will be able to create subs with whatever rules they want as long as they don't violate site wide rules. This is also good. Someone other than us is accountable for some content others could post. Don't think so? Post a death threat and the site owner will have to deal with it first. Or even the hosting provider.

Guys, voat.co is gone and poal is not voat. It's better if for no other reason it is still here. Improvise, adapt and overcome.

Okay, then here's your chance:

Explain this line in the way that's so obvious to everyone. Explain what I missed, and what it's supposed to say. Because, to me, this says that Thing1 is better than Thing2 because it still exists, and "for no other reason."

I'm simply calling you out on this. I'm talking to you using your logic.

The Biden administration must be better to you for no other reason that it'll exist beyond the Trump administration. The Prius must be a better car than the Chevelle, for no other reason that it still exists and the Chevelle is no longer made. And Eddit must be better than Poal, just like Poal is "better" than Voat, because it's existed longer. Is this not what those quoted lines are stating?

My claim is a simple one, and you're making my point for me. The Chevelle is a VASTLY superior car, even though it no longer exists and the Prius does. Trump is a VASTLY superior leader, especially when compared to Biden, even after the Trump administration no longer exists. And your logic of Poal being better than Voat due to one existing beyond the other is similarly wrong.
