Look, poal supports free speech but that does not mean you can go to a sub that does not support free speech and call the mod a cunt expecting nothing to come of it. If you came in to my house/sub and did that I'd bounce your ass out just as fast. Not all subs are the same. Pay attention to the rules. We all got lazy on voat because mods there didn't give a shit. Clearly, some of these mods do!

No, I do not believe all of poal should be 100% free speech because that forces all mods to accept all content. You can't force me to listen to rap music in my house!

Cooking post going in the cooking sub and has nothing to do with anything but cooking if that is what the mod wants. In time, ex-goats will be able to create subs with whatever rules they want as long as they don't violate site wide rules. This is also good. Someone other than us is accountable for some content others could post. Don't think so? Post a death threat and the site owner will have to deal with it first. Or even the hosting provider.

Guys, voat.co is gone and poal is not voat. It's better if for no other reason it is still here. Improvise, adapt and overcome.

Well, I am free to say anything right? No. An example is you can not violate federal laws. If 20% of us started to threaten POTUS, not only would that 20% get a visit but there might be enough there to convince a judge to order the site down. Would that be correct to do? No but being wrong wont stop it from happening and then everyone is scattered to the e-winds of the Internet.

I haven't looked but judging from what I have seen so far, there is not one sub on poal that will be okay with a user threatening a president. Right or wrong does not matter at that point.
