This is part of the reason we are in this mess. Too many people care too much about what others think of them. Only the closest people to you opinions matter

I spent a lot of time spinning in circles, trying to find my own source of truth and meaning. Joined the military, that went -okay- I guess, returned home and going to college, even though it's mostly a crock of shit. Just want to get a degree in something technical and get out.

Finally being on my own (got an apartment after coming back home last year) helped me to be a bit more truthful about who I am, both to myself and others. I've been working from there.
