I just learned this morning of some algorithm that flags you if you downvote 'legit users'. I don't know the whole story but can anyone explain this, sounds kind of reddity

With all due respect, thanks for letting us come here as a refuge. I would hasten to say that the reason poal was chosen was due to its claim on unfettered free speech. So therein lies the concern for finding out about certain iswrs having a type of God mode and anybody who disagrees being labelled.

I do not think it is out of line to bring up such a criticism but I would like to hear your opinion so I will pose this question, what is the reasoning behind elevating a select few and punishing dissenters?
