I often lurked here but found it almost empty except when Voat was having an outage. It was always just a handful of users. Since Voat is soon to be deceased I'll be optimistically cautious. And it does seem much livelier now. However, it is fairly clear that the Goats were herded here. That should be a clear problem for everyone, bears, goats and goatbears.
I'm personally hoping that the voat zeronet gets up and running on android soon as I rarely shitpost from a computer.
I fully understand the need to be wary and one should be cautious. Poal is a little different and hopefully has learned a few lessons from Voat about what not to do. I've been here since the beginning as COFfer and so far I've enjoyed what I've seen. At some point you just have to have a little faith, throw a few bucks their way, and see what happens. Maybe I'll get burned but at least I tried to pay my own way.

You're missing the point, bud. The corpse of voat isn't even cold yet and you're trying to sell me life insurance. If I get to the point that I feel compelled to contribute financially, I'll do it without being asked. I haven't even learned the UI here yet and you want me to pony up, well shouldn't I know what I'm paying for first?
