irc.poal.co port is 6667

web interface incoming hopefully before the day is over.

UPDATE: Had to take it down again, I need to add a few modules before I can take it back live. Should be working with web interface tonight, hopefully mini chat integration too, but that one no promises.

Yeah good luck finding instructions to enable it. That’s where I’ve been running into trouble.

So I looked up "Inspircd mode +x" and found that gives a breakdown. I have only used ircd and it is as simple as enabling a default user login mode. From what I have read if you have all the applicable modules installed it should just work with the proper flags stated under the <connect allow= part of the config. You have to generate a password hash as well and this HOWTO walks you through it. If you are still having problems I can do a install on a server and get it config'd up.

it should be under default user login modes in the config file. I will look up the default config and troll through a bit.
