Oh it is definitely a feature. You know more than i do the founders wanted static over dynamic in regards to laws.

I remember telling a friend early on when she expressed concern about Trump having too much power. I reminded her that she was OK with that amount of power in Obama's hands and that I pointed out at the time that eventually someone she didn't like would wield it.
The problem isn't that Trump has too much power, but that the Presidency has too much power. (The legislature, too.)

Completely agree the imperial presidency has been growing for 80 years. It is terrifying when you stop and think about it.
