I was looking to bring people over from Reddit to Poal, to bring more of an audience to the site. I do not like Reddit and I think Poal is the better platform of the two.

I had to debate two people because we cannot let these people win. They'd have us in reeducation camps if they did. We are not Nazis and this is a very false accusation this group of people makes against us.

It didn't look like you were debating anyone. It looked like you were talking to the wall.
I'm sure @PMYB2 and @AOU appreciate the effort but I'm not sure it accomplished anything.
I'm of the let-sites-grow-naturally mindset. Anyone from reddit who wants to be here will seek it out.

I definitely agree. I am planning to brush up more on rules of debate.

I'll admit, it did feel like I was talking to a wall because that guy would not concede on his point about his accusation of us. I essentially had to argue over how we are not Nazis.

It is definitely your choice on how you want to handle people like this. I personally would like my country (I'm American) more unified and less divided

I'm American, too. Been so for 50+ years. I've been called a Nazi, a Commie, a Fellow Traveler, a White Supremacist... you name it. None of it bothers me anymore.
