Yeah, I share his general politics, but more importantly...

A few years ago, I got an unexpected call late at night from my closest friend of over a decade, who lived in a different city. He was clearly in a panic, voice quivering and needing my advice. As it turns out, his girl"friend" had, on drugs & alcohol, decided to revenge-breakup with him by claiming he had committed domestic violence against her. She had self-harmed, then went to the cops to fabricate the story that he had done it.

Truth is, he is a small dude. Like 5'5", 130 lbs maybe. So much so, that the truth was he had been savagely attacked by her when she had bootycalled him late one night, and he had went to her apartment (with a broken bottle, holy shit!). He told me he couldn't fight back because he knew the law wouldn't side with him. It didn't matter, it sided with her anyway.

She went the whole 9 yards, being rich and connected. Restraining order, crocodile tears, full social media & text history, friends "corroborating story" and shit. I thought my friend was going to jail, and he was just like Kavanaugh - driven, morally-centered Catholic, who could not possibly have done this.

Luckily for my friend, he knew someone in the prosecutor's office who was able to get at least a level playing field. The evidence bore out that she was a drug-addicted psycho, and in light of this she dropped the case - after 12 months of pure hell for him, and thousands in legal fees. He was able to get his record expunged on the very first day that it was possible to do so.

So, it can happen to anyone. And we saw it on the highest stage, that even if you walk the straight & narrow path, women have been wrongfully handed this power to destroy - and no matter what the dude believed, it was essential that this bullshit STOP. NOW.

I think it is, too. A lot of men saw "There but for the grace of God, go I" play out in their heads...

Well today was a victory over leftism, feminism, it was a victory for innocent until proven guilty

Cheers to that! 🍻
