According to other people they went out of stock in less than 10 seconds, and with no option to even place a pre order.

So now the price will go up to even triple the RRP.

I dont even think they limited the cards to one per household, so its likely that the people that got in first ordered 10, maybe a hundred in order to resell them.

Nvidia releases way under demand to create artificial scarcity. At least that's what the guy at microcenter was telling me.

In this case it looks like not just being under demand, but literally zero.

No one on any forum has been able to purchase a Founders Edition 3080. They simply went straight from 'Notify Me' to 'Out of Stock'.

Loads of tech forums and shop's websites have crashed due to a massive influx of people trying to find a 3080 or whinge about there not being any.
