According to other people they went out of stock in less than 10 seconds, and with no option to even place a pre order.

So now the price will go up to even triple the RRP.

I dont even think they limited the cards to one per household, so its likely that the people that got in first ordered 10, maybe a hundred in order to resell them.

That's totally planned. They limit stock at launch, wait for the prices to raise and then flood the market at higher profit.

This was for the founders edition though from Nvidia's website not shitty already price inflated Asus crap for £200+ more than the RRP.
