Ten years ago I spent $30 on a crank roller. Since then I've paid roughly $15 for 2 cartons of cigarettes when I want them. A bag of tobacco runs about $12 and 2 boxes of 100 tubes about $3.

The trouble comes at the last fifth of the bag. It dries out due to the regular opening & doesn't roll well. The solution is obvious; add hydration. Don't be stupid (me), it only takes less than a teaspoon of water to rehydrate as much as 30 ounces of leftovers. Now my dumb ass has to wait at least a day for it to dry out because I dumped in 2 tablespoons of water.

Who the fuck is still reading this? The last I heard the only people who smoke are deadbeat dads who need an excuse to walk out. And here I am with a cigarette hanging out of the side of my paper face mask. Karen's giving me side eye but I can't tell if it's because of the smoke or mustard stain on my shirt. My ex is nagging about alimony for the dogs vet bills while I'm just trying to buy a petty girl a drink with the hope that she might talk to me like a human being.

If you over hydrate your tobacco it takes about 2 days in open air to get it back to a rollable state. The best route is to apply the water to either a paper towel or tissue & seal or in a bag for 15 - 20 minutes. Then you might avoid this entire mess.

I very much enjoyed smoking. Didn't like rollies that much. The more I drink the worse I get a rolling and that's when I want a perfectly rolled smoke the most.

There was a small DIY cigarette shop in my town. You pick your tobacco, load it into the machine, load your filter tubes Kings or 100's, and it would crank out a carton. Ca-chunk, pa-chunk, ca-chunk, pa-chunk. You could set the pack level from tight to loose for how you wanted the draw. About half the price of Camels or Marlboros and tasted exquisite.

They went out of business and I quit smoking.

Now there is no smoke, just rage

I like a smoke. It's not a thing I'm proud of, but I'll fuck off anyone who tries to shame me for it. I use a for rolling. If the tobacco isn't too dry (or a soggy mess) & I'm not off my tits I get a decent smoke.
