Been wondering why there's been so much internet censorship lately? Gotta keep this on the hush-hush.

The Eliminating Abusive and Rampant Neglect of Interactive Technologies Act (EARN IT Act) would force technology companies to kill encryption programs that prevent hackers, law enforcement officers and many others from accessing private online communication systems.

Need reason to be sketched out?

They're running the typical "Think of the Children" gambit

In a press release from March 5th, the senators claim the bill is meant to "encourage the tech industry to take online child sexual exploitation seriously."

And this is a PROBLEM. They need to shut us down. If the government/corporations cannot monitor and control what we say, they cannot control us. and this IS a problem for them. # Spread the word. People need to know about this campaign. They win by keeping us in the dark. # This is NOT a partisan issue! Both democrats AND republicans are pushing for this bill. Do not pretend there's some "red vs blue" situation here. It's an us (the citizenry) vs them (government/corps) siutation. ### Lindsey Graham and Dianne Feinstein working together? Looks like they've found some common ground. -------------------------------- # Meaningful Commentary by Poaler's ["EARN IT" act to do to Tor what Germany did to JonDonym - @britac](https://poal.co/s/TellPoal/184568/4afddffc-8c43-4ea6-8a22-e55ee57b4413#cmnts) ["EARN IT" act to ruin online banking? - @citizenaspirant](https://poal.co/s/TellPoal/184568/54e46edf-109a-45a9-a45e-3cb51b1afe2d#cmnts)

Do you want me to give you an academic example?

No. I don't even want to have a dispute with you. I have no problem with you. However, I happen to be well versed in this crypto-stuff, and I'm quite an autist in this regard. You don't even use the right terminology, and don't seem to know what you're talking about, most likely because your ego got a little inflated by using big words whose meaning you don't understand, and believing in what those people think, which you have deceived beforehands. You know, classical vanity.

Edit: I may have to excuse myself for not reading careful enough. You wrote "I use A cypher", while I read "I use cypher", thinking, that "cypher" is some bullshit solution written in visual basic by a 16yo 10 years ago.

Now I stand corrected and you made more sense than it seemed to me a few minutes ago. I suggest we leave it with that.

So how well versed are you in "crypto-stuff"?

Once upon a time, more than ten years ago I read stuff like when going to bed.
