Seriously think about it. No matter who you think runs the private prison system and the rap music industry which I have my guess.

It is worse because it does more damage to families, It encourages poor behavior, It is much more in the shadows so no one thinks about it.

I'm pretty sure no one has thought of this and shared it before me original idea ftw.

You know recently I read a thread on the old /r/greatawakening that linked to a story where an anon studio exec said he and other "well known" execs had this big meeting to discuss rap. At the time, rap was not a thing. There were armed guys "guarding" the whole estate and the implication was there to cooperate. Anyways, they laid out this big plan to push rap as the new mainstream.

It went on to connect with prison system too.

Too bad GA is gone. Would have to Google fu it and just too busy. But it's out there somewhere.

My summary is pretty weak TBH, but your post reminded me of it.

Edit - found the article. Wasn't hard to find after all https://www.businessinsider.com/former-music-exec-describes-the-scary-meeting-that-resulted-in-todays-violent-rap-music-2012-5
