It's really kind of sad to see the fandoms I've participated in over the years degrade into toxic "muh genders muh racisms" things.

It's even more sad to realize that the people that welcome this type of behavior don't seem to realize these people aren't here to participate in the fandom, but to make it more acceptable to their values.

Once the people like me, who are there because we liked the concepts of the genre, have left, it will be nothing but these people who are there to change it into their idea of life. When it's fully converted, they will leave and the whole thing will fade into memory with only a handful of founders and die-hards to wonder what happened to the crowds that used to attend.

Some of us were here for the spaceships and explosions. The minute you started sticking your dick, or lack thereof, into it, it's something different and best of luck to you.

I don't know, but they likely have explosions. Spaceships would be great to sell toys too; so they might have them. It's a glorified toy commercial after all.

My Little Pony was a mildly successful toy commercial in the 80s, and a bad toy commercial in the 2000s. It was so bad that they had to create another cartoon to sell toys to the intended audience, little girls. Fat furry weeb wannabes don't buy many toys unless they're waifu pillows, and last time I checked Hasbroke doesn't sell those.

I used to attend sci-fi cons and the like decades ago when you could still potentially meet some of the old masters. As those people died off and the pronoun-prouds moved in, it became less interesting. Some of the conventions I attended have either closed their doors or dropped to such a low attendance that it's hard to even find out if they're still going on. The die-hards - everyone else left.
