Oh well, on the upside, I know that there are a large number of people in my town who will feel even less charitable to chimpouts in town and expect to hear about deaths: may they remain unsolved if there's the ones I'm thinking of.

Sometimes I have the weirdest dreams about sailing up flooded streets to the suburbs. The sensation of sailing and the movement of the boat seem so real; I always feel so fortunate that I can set the sails so well to travel the correct direction down the streets I for some reason want to sail down.

I'll drop anchor at your house next time! I'll have decent cold beers aboard in the cooler!

It's weird; it's always in weird parts of town where I have no idea where I am, but I'm stridently trying to sail somewhere, and the breeze [and water depth] is somehow very cooperative. I need at least 5 and a half feet of water depth, unless heeled over pretty far, and even still, that's a pretty minimal difference. But dreams are fucking freaky.

I'm wearing one of them at my hip right now.

I should get a cool shoulder holster. I've wanted one of those for awhile now. This rig is kind of better for concealment dressed casually with an untucked shirt, though, and it's too warm to wear a jacket all the time at the moment, but still.

I swear, man. Where we are SO MANY people are just itching for an excuse to drop troublemaking miscreants and feeding the fish.
