First thing I did is pay off all my PayPal credit, and then order a replacement motherboard for my main PC as my RMA is taking too long (will sell or use the eventual replacement to update my backup PC).

Also I'm done with ridiculous price Asus boards and replaced one that costs £200 with the same type from Gigabyte costing £165, and will be happy to just get £150 back for my Asus one on ebay once it does get repaired.

I also couldn't wait much longer to get the replacement motherboard as Intel's next gen is out soon and rumoured to be very expensive, and the Z390 is going EOL and running out of stock everywhere (I managed to find the less expensive gigabyte one I wanted on Amazon), and I don't need a better CPU than my 9700K.

I have a 2c/4t G4560 backup I am currently using that could really use an update, but to the Ryzen 3300 which will only be £115 for 4c/8t but the overlooked problem with AMD builds is the motherboard cost (Intel H series non overclockable boards like my current one are a lot cheaper).

But 2c/4t is dreadful now, even for a backup rig. But then again once my main PC is fixed I wouldnt even have any need for a £115 backup CPU so its not really worth updating it.
