It's pretty explicitly denied in the constitution in the 8th amendment, "unreasonable and excessive fines."
We must commit ourselves to forming a new government, if not replacing the old, then establishing one somewhere within its borders. Even if this all gets resolved this event is evidence that it must be done and none of us should rest until it is done. Plus it's not going to get resolved. Our government is too retarded for that.
Our system doesn't work. Any system that gives a senile 80 year old Joe Biden even a 50% chance of commanding one of the most complex and powerful apparatuses to exist in human history is a system that doesn't work and should be replaced. This whole system is insanity. This isn't clown world. It's a mental institution. And like a mental institution it is full of people who do rash things because of their strange phobias, like shutting down all work of productive people over a disease with a 0.4% mortality rate.
I'm sorry but if you are yelling at people to stop working over something like that and even getting violent about it (what government does), then you need to be committed to a mental institution for schizophrenia. Why haven't these governors been committed yet? They are a danger to the public like a schizophrenic with a gun. Cops would tackle somebody like that in a second if they didn't have an office to their name.
I'd really like to see more sheriffs nullifying these laws. I don't always get along with cops but I hope they have enough reason to see that many of these laws are unconstitutional, and that other are a danger to public safety more so than the virus.
Anyone who does get cited under these laws, don't plead. Make them work for every conviction, and juries will nullify left and right. I wish more employers had the bravery to trust juries.
