I make my own good food, pirate movies, and dont have to worry about all the other assholes. Rural living FTW
wish I could say the same.
Wish you could, too, honestly. Saw funky’s post about appreciating the back yard, and very much wanted to wish she (and you, and the kids) could have our backyard. Perhaps that’s the price to be paid for being on the back end of life lol. It’s an odd feeling knowing you’ve lived longer than you have left to live, even if you live to be over 100 ...
Yeah we do appreciate our back yard especially now. That would be a very strange feeling, I suppose someday I'll know what its like.
Aww that's so sweet of you.
Ours is small but plenty for the kids to run around in at least.
I'm just really thankful we don't live in a townhouse anymore with a shared backyard for most of the complex
"Why do you want to live so far from the city!?!? You guys can't even get pizza delivered?!?!"
Well, check and mate...
Haha. Haven’t been able to get ANY food delivery here ever. Not missing it after 22 years.
Lou Malnattis from Chicago delivers via FedEx. You have to cook it yourself. So, it's possible.
But you dont get to go see movies, go to nice restaurants, order pizza delivery, ok ok. I can think of many advantages. Fuck a small town if you live in it.
Movies look damn good on a 65" TV with sound bar. Fuck movie theaters wtih sticky floors, excessive dynamic range, and noisy little brats.
Movies? Nothing to see, even sequels and remakes manage to be fucked up. Nice restaurants? I don't like niggers spitting in my food, and unless you're rich enough to hire a private cook you better learn to cook yourself. Pizza delivery? Takes an hour to make the dough from scratch and put toppings on, then 15-30 minutes in a hot oven depending on technique.
It was sarcasm in case ya missed it, not many live as far out as I do. Not down south anyway.
