I think it's partly some kind of government infiltration, but I also think some people choose Nazism because of their dissatisfaction with how society is. I know the former exists, but I've also met the latter. I also think Spencer could be a genuine narcissist that people followed simply because he seemed vaguely charismatic. Maybe he was a plant that killed the Alt-Right brand, but he easily could've been a narcissist that was never told by a subordinate that he had to be in touch with reality.
