Well evidently wild turkey makes a 101 rye, I have had the 101 bourbon many times. I really dont even know what rye is really and Im pretty aware of edible grains. I drink old Forrester but will look for a rye on friday just to try it.
I'm a little scanty on the details myself, but glad you're going to try a rye. To me it's like bourbon but a little less sweet and cloying and sometimes a little spicey.
