My home smells wretched alone right now. It smells like burnt plastic.

The candles were almost perfect width to not need any type of holder. The problem is they are or were just thin enough that the side breaks and the wall falls out making the candle burn like an hour or two since it loses all of it's wax at most instead of 25-35 hours or so if not longer (3.5 inches high).

I 3D printed plastic molds to make candles (Blessed Exorcism Salts added).

I decided to just use the plastic mold that I used to create the candle. It worked fine as I watched it for 5-10 hours or so. The walls (my plastic 3D printed candle mold - I 3D print at home to create custom stuff) weren't hot and/or etc and it was going perfectly fine as I'd watch it burn on my desk.

I walked away for 5 minutes (was making dinner) and came back with the entire top of my candle on fire (surrounding plastic walls) - 5 inches high. I quickly just blew it out and such then walked away not really caring, but it did kind of startle me a bit.

I could smell something burning, but thought nothing of it at first as I was making food then I could really smell that something was actually burning (plastic burning).

I knew this could easily happen, but it was working just fine. It was a temp fix / temp solution for only a couple of days until I get glass candle jars.

Just wanted to tell someone that I made an idiot move knowing I had made an idiot move, but I really had no other options for the time being.

I gave up for now on the plastic. I was pretty much one and done.

That time old saying (plus question) of don't use plastic when it comes to candles or anything to do with fire alone... answered again - 500th time if not 5,000th time.

yeah its np... like i said i burn candles... the one i got going now its smells like a forest here... anyways whatever

I ordered some blue dye (blocks) and some scents like that. I ordered some scents myself for making candles. I prefer to make them.

Scents...

Frankincense & Myrrh - Christian / Catholic Obviously - Not sure how well this will smell yet or what it will smell like even.

Storm Watch (type) - play into storms I guess with candles alone if not other situations.

Welcome Home - I wanted something really neutral. Just a home candle and that's it.
