I used the word "hello" for this alone.

just this ----- right under text gives this or you get the first "hello"

hello

hello

if you just do one of these before any text you get this... "-"

  • hello this is a test

when you just wanted to say a name or something like that as a quote

-inventors name

  • inventors name

The 3rd one works just fine as long as you are on the "dark mode", but on the regular mode it doesn't work.

If you do a numbers list you get this

  1. hello a

hello b

hello c

strike through works just fine.

hello

It's basically a gamble whenever it comes to any buttons or ascii text.

IDK - just wanted to tell poal this.

Also make sure you double space if you want separate lines, but the lines can't be one after the next it must have a space in between the lines.

Use preview; and backslash to escape any weird or undesired formatting.

Alternatively, you could provide the code for your improved markdown. I'm sure and AOU would appreciate the help... provided it's robust and actually working ;)

mostly just laughing about it and telling people. I wasn't sure to post this in tellpoal or funny.
